Version 3.1a - Week 87
Planned mini-update 1 of 3.
- General Feat - Leadership changed from "Appoint 1 Lieutenant as a Cohort (a Cohort is identical to an Lt except they can't be a commander and do not gain a Commander Rating)" to "Lieutenant Commanders can benefit from this creature's Commander Effect."
- Table M-8: Ioun Stones - Deep Red changed from "+1 AC, ranged attack +1" to "+1 AC"
- Table M-10: Major Powers - Independance removed and will be a reroll untill replaced
- Table M-10: Major Powers - Dexterity changed from "+1 AC and ranged attack +1" to "+1 AC, ranged attack +1, +1 Speed"
- Table M-10: Major Powers - Aggression changed from "gain Aggression 5" to "gain Aggression +10"
- Table M-11: Medium Weapon Powers - All ... Burst weapons that did 10 damage now do 15 damage.

- Auction House - Optional items such as weapons and armour will not be predetermine and can now be chosen by the winner of the item (rules currently posted in Auction House posts)

- Table M-13: Unique Items - Rod of Wonder changed from "[][][] Cast a spell with a random metamagic boost from the Rod Table. Reroll the metamagic if it does not effect the spell" to "[][][] Cast a spell with a random metamagic boost from the Rod Table. Reroll the metamagic if it does not effect the spell"
- Partial Commander Effects - added Tyrranical Morale +2
- Partial Commander Effects - added Followers gain Save +1
- Warlord Levels - added explicit reference to Saves - Saves: A creature's Save is equal to its total level, which is the creature's level as shown on its stat card plus its Warlord Level.
- Introduction - removed the second paragraph: "In a standard campaign, you choose a creature with a Commander Rating to become your warlord. Your warlord then battles other warlords in the campaign, gaining campaign points and power (via levels and magic items) with each win. The campaign ends when the first warlord gains a predetermined number of campaign points."
Version 3.2 - Week 101
Addition of Errata and changes caused by Blood War.
- Arcane and Divine Spell List - Protection From Chaos/Evil/Good/Law changed from "Touch; +2 AC and save +2 vs Chaotic creatures, take no Melee damage from summoned Chaotic creatures" to "Touch; +2 AC and save +2 when facing a(n) Chaotic/Evil/Good/Lawful warband, take no Melee damage from summoned Chaotic creatures"
- Arcane and Druidic Spell List - Ice Storm changed from "Sight, radius 4; 15 damage + 10 cold damage; DC 16 (for 5 damage + 5 cold damage), affected area of battle grid becomes difficult terrain until caster's next activation" to "sight; radius 4; 20 cold damage; ignore SR".
- Arcane Spell List - Invisibility changed from "Touch; gain Invisible until this creature uses an attack, special ability or spell that targets or affects an enemy" to "Touch; gain Invisible until the affected creature attacks, casts a spell, or uses any ability that replaces attacks".
- Assigning Magic Items: Limits by Creature - The following text "Incorporeal creatures may not use any magic items except Ioun Stones." was replaced with, "Creatures with the Incorporeal special ability may not use any magic items except Ioun Stones."
- Commander Effects - the italicized text was removed from the following, "Lieutenants who are existing commanders, do not gain a partial commander effect at Warlord Level 2, but they do gain an addition to their existing commander effect as described below."
- Commander Effects: Upon Reaching Level 2 - "TYPE must be the type and sub-type (if any) of the Lieutenant" was replaced with, "TYPE must be a type or subtype of the creature except Humanoid"
- Divine Spell List - Remove Fear changed from "Range 6; Morale Save +4" to "Range 6; automatically rally routing creature".
- Feats: Caster Feats - Empower Spell changed from "Gain Sudden Empower [] (Damage +10, 1 spell that only deals damage the same turn as being cast, when used with a spell that does two different types of damage add +5 damage to each type, this feat may not be used with spells containing the word "Empowered")" to "[] When casting a spell that deals damage the same turn as being cast and that does not contain the word "Empowered", gain Sudden Empower (Damage +10, 1 spell that deals damage).".
- New Skirmish Rules: Transferable Magic Items - this rule was removed.
- Lieutenants: Gaining Levels - The reference to Cohorts (A V2 thing) was removed. "...unless Lieutenant is also the Warlord's Cohort (see Cohort feat)." was replaced with, "...unless the Lieutenant's Warlord has the Leadership feat."
- Stealth Abilities: Defensive Roll - change from "on a DC 20 save, take no damage from one attack" to "take no damage from a melee or ranged attack".
- Stealth Abilities: Arterial Strike - changed from "...Bleeding (attack -1, -1 AC, and 5 damage to living creature whenever bleeding creature activates; DC 17)" to "...Bleed 5 (living creatures only; 5 damage whenever affected creature activates until it gains hit points)"
- Table M-10: Major Powers - Immortality changed from "Creature type becomes Undead" to "Creature type becomes Undead, replacing all existing types and subtypes"
- Table M-11: Medium Weapon Powers - Cleaving changed from "Gain Cleave" to "Gain Cleave or Ranged Cleave"
- Table M-12: Major Weapon Powers - Bleeding changed from "Damage +Bleeding (attack -1, -1AC, and 5 damage to living creature whenever bleeding creature activates; DC 16)" to "Damage + Bleed 5 (living creatures only; 5 damage whenever affected creature activates until it gains hit points)".
- Table M-14: Artefacts - Angelic/Demonic Essence changed from "DR 5, Spell Resistance, Resist 10 Fire, Cold, Smite Good 20 [] OR Unholy Blight [], Speed become Flight, creature type becomes Outsider, warlord name now includes "Demonic"; this artefact once used is permanent and counts as four magic items for the purpose of warband building." to "Resist 10 Acid/Electricity/Cold, SR, DR 5, Smite Evil 10[], Type becomes Outsider (Keep subtypes), Your opponent's Evil Outsiders gain Outsider Foe, -1 to effective level for LT purposes (both number of LT's and max level of LT's), Permanent once used, Gain a speed of F4 in addition to other speeds."
- Table M-14: Artefacts - added Banner of COmmand and Phylactery of Former Lives
- Weapons: Limits of Use - changed from "Creatures with melee and natural attacks from more than one weapon may wield a different magical weapon for each different weapon they have that grants them an attack on the DDM side of their stat card." to "Magic weapon effects affect all of a creature's melee or ranged attacks regardless of their source. If a creature has attacks from both a melee weapon and a natural weapon, then a magic weapon of either type affects all attacks of both types. Creatures may use one ranged magic weapon, and one melee or natural magic weapon."
Version 3.2a - Week 103
Simplified treasure tables to not be based off of a d% in order to synchronize with the new VASSAL treasure roller.
Version 3.3 - Week 110
- Arcane and Druidic Spel Lists - Ice Storm (Sight; radius 4; 20 cold damage; ignore SR) has been removed.
- Arcane and Druidic Spell Lists - Hail Storm (Sight, Radius 4. 25 cold damage and area becomes difficult until caster's next activation. DC 16, ignores spell resistance) has been added.
- Stealth Abilities - Ambush has been changed to grant +5 damage instead of the creature's [special attack] bonus damage.
- Table M-10: Major Powers - the Banshee (Improved Countersong) has been removed
- Table M-12: Major Weapon Powers - Slowing has been changed from "[] damage +Slow (gain effects of slow spell); the use of this power must be declared before making an attack" to "this creature's attacks gain Slow (creature struck gains Slow Attack until the end of its next turn; DC 17)" to correspond with the Ice Devil's version.
- Table M-12: Major Weapon Powers - Vampiric has been changed from "Damage +Level Drain" to "gain Life Drain 5 (max of max hp)."
- Table M-14: Artefacts - Added the three tournament prizes: Carpet of Flying, Magic Lamp of the Genie, and the Crystal Ball of E'Mit.
